Park City Family Reunion

In July, we went to my family reunion in Park City.  My brother has a time share at The Canyons and got us all a really great deal for the whole week.

Any free time was spent in the pool and hot tub.  The kids had such a fun time swimming with their cousins.  (I'm pretty sure that's why Olivia won't get out of her swimsuit!)

Family Home Evening

My parents found a beautiful, secluded park to host our Family Home Evening.  We BBQ hot dogs and then had a family talent show.
Ed, Russ, Steve and Michael were all incharge of the grill

Heber Creeper
On Tuesday, we rode the Heber Creeper.  The train traveled by Deer Creek Reservoir, through the Provo Canyon, and showed views of Mt. Timpanogos.  The kids especially had a great time walking back and forth to the snack car.  The train stopped at a park to let us all stretch our legs.
On the way back, the train broke down about 15 mintes into our trip.  We had to wait 45 minutes for another engine to pick us up.  Our car was hot, sweaty and full of ansy kids!  We were very happy to reach our destination.

Family Fun Pack

On Thursday, we all decided to buy the Family Fun Pack which included unlimited rides on the gondola, fishing, paddle boating, and the zipline.

If you look closely, you can see Gracie and Callie going down the zipline.  They were the first ones down!
I had to include this picture!  For those who don't know, my mom is deathly afraid of heights.  Even though she was terrified, she still did it and can now check it off her bucket list.

Hannah and Anna really connected this family reunion.  They had so much fun together and were nicked named "The Banana Girls."
