Parker started Kindergarten this year and loves it! He was so excited to go to school and ride the bus that we started a countdown to school the first of August. Each day we would read books for 15 minutes and then practice writing letters. Then we picked a craft idea out of a bucket and ripped off the number of days left for school to start. The day before we started, Parker and Hannah flipped through their activity books and picked out all the crafts they wanted to do and then we headed to the dollar store to get all the supplies. They had a great time!
Parker's first day of school. He could hardly wait to ride the bus. We needed to get to the bus stop by 8:30 a.m. and Parker was dressed with his backpack on standing by the door at 7:45.

Oh my gosh EMily - you are such a good mom to do a big count down, crafts and "homework". Wow!! I bet the kids loved it!!
