My birthday and Mother's Day fell on the same weekend. My parents came up for my piano recital, birthday and mother's day. On Saturday, we celebrated my birthday by going to the train museum and riding the steam train. After that we headed to the park where we rode another train that was much smaller but just as fun.
Carson City set up a Carnival for Mother's Day so we rode a few of the rides. The kids thought it was fabulous! It was fun to see them so excited. Mor mor was elected to ride the rides with them since I couldn't due to my condition. They thought it was great! After the Carnival we went back for cake and presents. That night, my parents watched the kids while Russ took me out to dinner with some friends. It was a great day!
It was fun celebrating Mother's day with my mom. We first went to church and enjoyed the primary singing and also our gift from the ward. Parker gave his first talk in primary which made it special too. We came home and had dinner and then open presents and had brownies and ice cream for dessert.

Wow, I can't believe he gave his first talk. That's awesome. And he looks so handsome.
I love that you got a picture of him giving his first talk! Classic! He looks so cute!
