Christmas Eve we had our traditional buffet with delicious food. After we ate, Dad sang "O Holy Night" and then read the Christmas story while the kids acted it out. Hannah was so excited to play Mary and Parker thought it was pretty cool to get all dressed up. After the Nativity, Parker and Hannah opened their pajamas and slippers and were ready to go look at the Christmas lights.
When we came home from looking at Christmas lights, it was time to give Santa his plate of cookies and send the kids to bed. My brother Michael looked out the window before we put the plate of goodies out and saw a red glowing light (which we knew was Rudolph's nose!). He picked Parker up and said Santa was on the roof next door and he'd better get to bed or Santa would skip our house. Parker ran upstairs. We had to coax him back down stairs so he could put the cookies out. As soon as we took the picture, he ran up stairs again. Russ yelled out, "Parker make sure to go the bathroom." Parker just ran straight to his room and said he couldn't, Santa was coming. I carried Hannah up to bed and when I got into our room, Parker had his covers over him and was hugging lion "fast asleep." It was the cutest thing ever. He didn't want to miss any presents Santa had for him!

That is so cute about Parker not wanting to miss Santa. Your kids are so cute!
I love Christmas jammies! Alex got those exact ones! They could be twinners!
We sure had a fun time with you. The kids were at the perfect age for "Santa".
