Death Valley

Next, we stopped at the Devil's Haystacks.  The whole desert is covered with these weird looking bushes.

We visited a museum where Parker became a Junior Ranger.  Mor mor helped him fill out a booklet that asked him all about the desert.  Hannah's favorite part of the museum was this ram.

The Ranger is pinning Parker's badge on.
The next couple of pictures are of machines they used in the olden days.

The Devil's Golfcourse is one of my favorite spots.  It's a whole stretch of land that has funny shaped salt formations.

As we were leaving the Devil's golf course we witnessed something very rare in Death Valley-a rainbow.

Badwater Basin is the lowest point in the conntinential USA

Our last adventure was exploring Golden Canyon.  THroughout the canyon they have these little passage ways that you can climb.  Unfortunately, it was getting dark so we were only able to climb up one.
