We spent Fourth of July with my parents and sister Carol. We had a fun time visiting, barbequing and watching the fireworks. 
My dad and Russ were in charge of the barbeque. It was a delicious feast.

Before we went to Carson City for the big firework show, we lit a few fireworks of our own. Unfortunately, it was really windy and we had trouble lighting them. Russ was determined and found that hiding behind the pole did the trick.
Parker wasn't too fond of the fireworks but Hannah sure loved them.

Later in the day we went to Genoa (Nevada's oldest town) and listened to the Reno philharmonic orchestra play patriotic songs. The last song was 1812 Overture with real cannons firing off. It was a fun atmosphere.

Saturday morning we went to the train museum and rode the stream train.
