Russ put the first dent in our Yukon a few weeks ago and decided instead of taking it in, he'd fix it himself. His brother works at a Shermin Williams and coached Russ over the phone on what he needed to do in order to fix it and also sent the supplies to get the job done. It looked like a lot of work to me but Russ wanted to give it a try.
He did an amazing job! Here's the process:
The Dent
Sanded the paint
Filled the dent with putty
Painted with Primer
Painted it
Blended color with rubbing compound
Final product
I'm so lucky to have such a talented husband! He is constantly surprising me on his handy man skills. He can now put auto body repair on his list!
