Things we've been doing

I thought I'd post a few things we've been up to.
Movie Time: I really needed a good block of time to sort laundry and clean the kitchen so I set the kids up with Little Mermaid, milk with twisty straws, plain popcorn and a fun place to watch it. It worked! I have a feeling we'll be doing this another time I really need to clean.
Fruit Leather: I bought a case of apricots at Costco and soon realized we weren't going to eat them very quickly so I decided to make fruit leather with them. The kids loved them and kept wanting more "candy." The great thing was there wasn't a lot of sugar in the recipe so I felt pretty good having them gobble it up. (Recipe: 2 cups chopped fruit (pureed), 2 Tablespoons honey, 1 Tablespoon lime juice.)

Felt Food: I decided to start making felt food for Hannah's kitchen. I started the first of the summer and have had a lot of fun making them. The next project will be making felt fruit but that won't be for a little while . . . maybe for Christmas.
Pizza

Ravioli

Sugar Cookies
